Camp Crystal Lake: Mystery Inc.
Mystery Inc. - Investigate
July 9th 1990
The team arrives early that morning to set everything up for nightfall. Some of the equipment would be time consuming to install and setup.
The equipment wasn't anything like there is today. It was large and bulky.Shaggy was the expert in equipment installation. Velma assisted him. Daphne would get the paperwork ready, and Fred would walk the premises and map it out.
The Journals of Chris Davis
Day: #1
Last night might've been the best night of my life. I met this cute chick Chistina. We hit it off well and I fingered her down by lake. She will take my virginity, I am just about sure of that.
Day #2
Here we are on the second day. We worked extremely hard today setting up the camp. The Lead Counselors were impressed with the amount of work that had gotten done. Kissed Christina. Nothing more today.
Day #3
Today I made out with Christina. There's another girl that likes me, and I think she's cute. I think I'll stay with Christina for awhile and see if I can get some off of her. I've got 2 days in on her already. Kevin and his group working the lawn reported seeing a man down by the lake. They thought he was pervert looking at the girls.
Day #4
The day wasn't too bad, but Mike screwed that chick Vanessa that he met when we got here, but I hadn't made it that far with Christina. I plan to go for it tonight. Push the issue, and see how far I can go with her. The man was seen today again by Tommy and Greg out on the trails.
Day #5
Danny Boy is still missing as I write this entry into the journal. He was helping plant flowers and he was just gone. They believe that he wandered off and got lost. I didn't get where I wanted with Christina. But I did confirm she wants to, so the chances are great. She really is a great girl. Still no word on Danny Boy yet, but the police department put in a report today. So we will see.
Day #6
THE POLICE DEPARTMENT WAS BACK OUT HERE TODAY. DANNY BOY WAS FOUND NAILED TO A TREE. THEY SPOKE TO ALL OF US OTHER WORKERS. THEY SAID IT WAS MULTIPLE PEOPLE OR A VERY STRONG INDIVIDUAL. CHRISTINA WAS TOO SHAKEN UP TODAY. I DIDN'T TRY HER. I ADMIT I'M A LITTLE AFRAID OF WHATEVER KILLED DANNY BOY.
Day #7
I am no longer a virgin. I made love to Christina in her cabin. She had a roommate Josephine in there too, and that was awkward, but I enjoyed every second of it. The police came back out today. Things are getting crazy. They were talking about the legends of Jason today. Cool story, but probably not real, but who knows.
Day #8
He's outside the cabin. I think he's here to kill me. I believe his intent is to kill me. I love everyone if I don't make it out of here.
Nightfall on Camp Crystal Lake
The crew was ready to find out what happened to those teens who were killed at the lake. There were seventeen teens slaughtered in a massacre. They were killed all around the camp. This indicated that they ran from their killer.
A man lurking around the camp had been reported. The police were in connection with fish and game to find this man. Two officers and two game wardens were found with their head's decapitated. The crew was prepared and Fred had a 9mm handgun. He had a bad feeling when they accepted the case.
The Night
There was an eerie feeling that surrounded the camp. There he was. The man wearing the old school hockey mask. Fred saw him and alerted the others. He had a machete in his hand. He was ready to kill. The crew felt there blood run cold when Jason looked into the Camera, and locked into a stare. Then he bolted off camera.
"Oh...shit." Shaggy said.
"I think he knows where we are." Fred followed up. "Turn the lights off."
"We need police assistance at Camp Crystal Lake." Daphne spoke into the CB radio.
The crew heard the door shut on the van. They looked out there watching Jason inspect it. He walked around the van. He then popped the hood. He grabbed the battery and ripped it out of the van wires and all.
"SHIT!!!" Fred shouted.
Scooby was at a low growl, but knew not to bark and expose their location. The crew was scared and Scooby recognized that. He knew when any one of them weren't happy, and he stayed with them in hopes of cheering them up.
Jason stood still, silent, listening. Then he turned and looked at the cabin that held the crew inside. He peered into the cabin. He took a couple of steps forward and stopped. The police lights could be seen through the trees. Jason bolted off the opposite way.
The officer pulled up with two other police cruisers coming. He jumped out weapon drawn. When he stepped out away from the car Jason came out of the darkness. The cop fired shot after shot into Jason who kept coming. Jason was unstoppable.
The officer was snatched up and thrown through the windshield of his car. The other two officers saw that happened. They slammed on the brakes. Quickly turning their cars around. They both sped off into the night.
Jason began working on the police car. He ripped the officer from the windshield. The EVP had collected a treasure of supernatural voicing. Everything would need to be analyzed, but first they'd need to get out of there.
Jason drove off in the squad car. The gang ran out to aid the officer. He was badly hurt. Velma thought that his neck was probably broken. He was too injured to make a run for it, but that's exactly what they had to do. The gang had to make a run for safety.
They took off into the night. The tree covered roads were creepy. They walked for miles. Shaggy opened up a box and pulled out a joint. He lit it up and tried to get right.
They heard the car coming. They got off the road and watched the car Jason took off in fly by them. Then the tires screeched followed by a hard slam. The crew waited. They waited, and waited. Jason never walked back down the street.
The sun was coming up, and they finally walked down there. Jason had hit the the tree at full speed. He was still laying on the hood of the car. He appeared to be dead. The gang walked on to get help. The camp would soon be crawling with police officers and medics.
The crew loaded their equipment in a moving truck. They had the van towed back on a wrecker. They needed to analyze the footage that they picked up. The police found the wrecked car, but they never found Jason. There was no evidence of Jason Voorhees.
THE FOOTAGE
The footage picked up voices down by the lake. Apparitions in the cabins. Unexplained smoke rising from the lake. Sounds echoing out of the pines down by the water. Crying sounds could be heard across the camp.
The crew needed to investigate the place without Jason interfering with the investigation.
There was no way to assure that. The sounds that echo the lake would remain a mystery for now. The gang would never forget their trip to Camp Crystal Lake. The home of Jason Voorhees.
