Mortal Kombat: Battle-Lines

 The Mortal Kombat Tournament

The next fight had been called. Shang Tsung had walked the corridor looking for trouble. Problems that he thought might exist. Yet Problems that he wasn't quite sure existed at that point. The Master of mind manipulation, Quan Chi, currently controlled the situation. Shang Tsung knew better than to engage with him on such a level.

The Kombatants had taken their places for battle. The Martian Manhunter showed no fear of Raiden on any level. He levitated above the ground waiting for the call. Raiden sparking with electricity was in another zone. The battle had started on a mental level before Shao Khan gave them the GO!

READY...FIGHT!!!

The fighters had theoretically already begun to wage war. Raiden couldn't be penetrated by Martian Manhunter's first attempt to engage him in mental warfare. The sky opened up with strikes of lightning that hung in the air. The bolts of cracking lightning were becoming more intense. Raiden was in full concentration. Martian Manhunter couldn't believe the mental resistance his opponent was showing. He can be broken.

The fight continued, with both Martian Manhunter and Raiden demonstrating their unique abilities and combat skills. Martian Manhunter shifted between different forms, using his shape-shifting abilities to dodge and evade Raiden's attacks.

Raiden was too quick and skilled, easily sidestepping the mind attacks.

Raiden, on the other hand, continued to use his lightning powers to create powerful blasts of electricity, aiming to take down Martian Manhunter with one well-placed strike.

Martain Manhunter was a powerful alien being with shape-shifting abilities, while Raiden was a skilled warrior with exceptional combat skills and lightning powers.

As the fight wore on, Martian Manhunter began to feel the effects of Raiden's lightning attacks. He struggled to maintain his concentration and focus, and his shape-shifting abilities started to falter. Despite his best efforts, he was unable to land a decisive blow on Raiden, who continued to attack with quick and precise strikes.

Meanwhile, the surrounding forest became increasingly damaged as the two combatants continued their fight, with trees and rocks crumbling under the force of their attacks.

Finally, Martian Manhunter saw an opportunity and lunged at Raiden with a powerful strike, hoping to end the fight once and for all. However, Raiden was too fast and agile, and he easily sidestepped the attack. With a quick counterattack, Raiden landed a powerful lightning strike on Martian Manhunter, sending him flying through the air.

Martian Manhunter recovered quickly, but the hit had taken its toll and he began to feel weak and disoriented.

Realizing that he was running out of options, Martian Manhunter decided to try one more desperate tactic. He focused all of his psychic abilities on Raiden, attempting to completely overwhelm his mind and incapacitate him.

Martian Manhunter's psychic attack hit Raiden like a truck, causing his body to convulse and twitch as the psychic waves coursed through his mind. The pain and confusion were overwhelming, and Raiden was rendered defenseless and unable to move.

Taking advantage of Raiden's weakened state, Martian Manhunter quickly pounced and immobilized him, wrapping his body around him tightly to prevent any further movement. With a final psychic push, Martian Manhunter completely incapacitated Raiden, leaving him unconscious and powerless.

Finish Him!!!

Martian Manhunter levitated Raiden into the air. The lightning drew up into one big ball of kinetic energy. Then holds him up and extracts all the energy Raiden once had into nothing. Then he drops the used up skin and bones that one housed Raiden's soul.

Raiden was defeated by Martian Manhunter. In a fight that proved that they were all powerful entities. The combatants realized the kind of strength and power that it would take to win. Maybe even a little luck as well.

SHAO KHAN

The once great Raiden had been eliminated. The issues behind the scene was still being looked into. There was a sad quiet among the contestants. Shang Tsung had been hanging around in various different forms. There where things Shao Khan knew were going on beneath the surface, and there were things going on that he had no idea about. The Tournament Kontinues!!!
Shang Tsung  had just about figured out  the situation with Quan Chi. While also keeping the situation on the down-low. Not that it much mattered at this point,  but Shang Tsung remembered all the tough battles that he'd had with Raiden. That fight could've gone his way. Unfortunately for the God of Lightning that didn't happen. Everyone knew after that Martian Manhunter was going to be a problem. Shao Khan could see Martian Manhunter winning this tournament. His skills and abilities were as good if not better than everyone whom still held on to hope. Shang Tsung knew some of them were just as good as dead. In fact each fight that didn't see them die was just a delay of the inevitable.
The Fire Fight: At the Bottom of the Pit
The heat is gonna be rising in this next showdown.
Scorpion charges towards Ghost Rider with his kunai and sword at the ready, ready to fight. Ghost Rider, sensing the danger, ignites his hellfire chains and prepares to defend himself.

The two fighters clash, with Scorpion launching a flurry of attacks with his weapons. However, Ghost Rider dodges and blocks the attacks with ease, taking the offensive with his hellfire chains. He swings his chains at Scorpion, attempting to ensnare him and pull him closer for a devastating hit.

Scorpion quickly dives to the side to avoid the chains, but Ghost Rider is too fast and lands a powerful kick that sends him sprawling across the ground.

Ghost Rider presses the advantage, using his physical strength and hellfire powers to keep Scorpion off balance and on the defensive.

Scorpion struggles to find an opening, but Ghost Rider is just too strong and tenacious. Eventually, Ghost Rider lands a powerful hit that sends Scorpion flying through the air.

Scorpion lands with a thud, dazed and battered. Ghost Rider wastes no time in closing in on him, preparing for the final blow. As Scorpion struggles to right himself, Ghost Rider ignites his Penance Stare, focusing his supernatural abilities on the guilty soul of Scorpion.

Scorpion, caught in the glare of the Penance Stare, is wracked with pain and agony as he is forced to relive the guilt and suffering he has inflicted on others throughout his life.

The pain is unbearable, and Scorpion can do nothing but writhe and scream in agony. Ghost Rider, satisfied that he has dispensed justice, prepares to deliver the final blow. He raises his fist, the Penance Stare continuing to punish Scorpion for his sins, and delivers the final punch that knocks Scorpion out cold.

FINISH  HIM!!!

Ghost Rider strikes hid Zippo lighter, and tosses it on his fuel covered opponent, and leaves Scorpion a burning pile of remains.

Shang Tsung  looks at the tournament board. He's still looking at it when Shao Khan  enters the Dragon's Lair. Quan Chi materializes before the their eyes. There were still unresolved issues . Things that needed  to be sorted out, but not at the cost of the Super Tournament.

The next fight will be a battle between :
Captain America  vs Omni-Man.

“A new challenger has entered the arena!”

“And it’s someone we haven’t seen before. Ladies and gentlemen, it is Captain America!”

Captain America enters the arena and he is met with a roaring crowd. He sees Omni-Man standing on the other side, waiting for him.

Captain America steps into the arena, ready to face Omni-Man. Omni-Man is watching him closely. The crowd is watching, intrigued to see how this will go down.

“Now, let the fight begin!”

Captain America lunges towards Omni-Man at full speed. He lands a series of powerful blows on the Viltrumite, but Omni-Man easily deflects them all.

Captain America keeps pressing forward, using every ounce of his strength to attack Omni-Man. He tries different strikes and even throws his shield at the Viltrumite. Still, Omni-Man easily blocks every attack and retaliates with his own powerful blows.

With each passing moment, the fight seems to be going in Omni-Man’s favor. Captain America is struggling to keep up with the Viltrumite’s speed and strength. He takes hit after hit and is slowly weakening.

Despite Captain America's valiant effort, he is no match for Omni-Man's power. He continues to get beaten down and his strength starts to decline. The crowd is watching in shock as Omni-Man completely overwhelmes the Captain.

Captain America is now on his knees, completely beaten down by Omni-Man’s relentless attacks. He is barely able to even lift a hand to protect himself. The crowd is silent, watching on in shock as the Viltrumite mercilessly pummels the Captain.

The fight continues for a few minutes more, with Captain America barely able to keep himself conscious. Omni-Man is beating him down with no mercy whatsoever.

FINISH HIM!!!

In a final blow, Omni-Man lands a devastating punch that completely knocks Captain America into another dimension.  The winner is... Omni-Man!!!

The Battle-Lines were being carved out. Quan Chi was looking at the strategic position that he would capitalize on. The facts were always as they had been. Quan Chi had no respect for Skeletor. Quan Chi was never in the business of miscalculation of his attack, or underestimating his opponents. Perhaps Skeletor had lured him into a false sense of security.  There was no doubt that Skeltor had known that Quan Chi would attack. That wasn't an attack that Skeletor didn't welcome. Quan Chi was a formidable opponent for anyone, but there was something different. Skeltor opens the Book of Spells.

Skeletor had a resourceful team that had also become stronger, and they all were aware that Quan Chi was looking for a moment to attack. Skeletor had found positions for his team to take out Quan Chi. Evil-Lyn was watching the crystal ball for any signs of movement or change. Skeletor had left Snake Mountain for Castle Greyskull.  Inside Captain Greyskull was held captive. Skeletor intended to kill him if he didn't give him the secrets of Greyskull. If there was ever a time the needed He-Man it was now, but there'd be no help coming from He-Man.

He-Man was back in the holding area waiting for whatever was next. He knew he needed to get back to Eternia.  Shao Khan had no intentions of  letting He-Man go back to Eternia. He-Man would have to win the whole tournament to make it back to Eternia.

As he sat there thinking about how he saw Captain America basically wiped out with no resistance. Although they'd both delivered some powerful blows, Omni-Man’s overall diversity was the difference. He-Man had been involved with Captain America in some important conversations.

Just like that Captain America was gone. Wiped out and decimated. Sent into the realms of the unknown.
☆The Red Reaper☆
The amount of death had brought out the lost souls. The unclaimed dead that roam the Lost Lands and hide in the Shadow Realm. They're unseen, untouched,  and unknown to those whom cannot see the dead. Shao Khan was well aware of their existence. Well aware of what they were capable of  doing. Shang Tsung knew as well. Only he never respected their presence or knowledge of the power structure. The Red Reaper had taken human form.

The lightning cracked through the openings in the dark matter. The next time the lightning traveled the open crevices in protective layers of the atmosphere. Raiden appeared in the lightning strikes,  but then the Red Reaper had taken back the elemental forces of the Dark Forces. The lightning strikes had gone blood red. The Dark Forces of Evil had capitalized on the moment.
The day had turned into night. The wrath of the Lost Souls was upon the land, but not everyone knew this. Shao Khan knew, and he still called the next fight in the tournament. There was no sign of Quan Chi. Shang Tsung teleports to Eternia where his colleague was looking to overtake the planet and become the new rulers of the land. When Shang Tsung materialized on Eternia he was immediately attacked by a clan of robotic soldiers.

Quan Chi knew that Skeletor had trapped the land and was ready to attack him as he entered the grounds of Eternia. Shang Tsung teleports back out of Eternia.  Knowing that Quan Chi was probably not in very good condition. Shao Khan teleported into the courtyard. Shang Tsung teleports into the courtyard to join him. The situation had become a problem. Now Khan would have to deal with the problems that could've been avoided all together.

This time would be the last time that anyone would try to get Eternia away from Skeletor.  He made it clear that he didn't want to challenge Shao Khan, but that was out of decades of respect. Skeletor had taken on powers that he didn't even completely understand,  but he would soon come to realize that he'd become an unstoppable force.

"I don't know where he is in the lands of Eternia,  but he will not conquer Skeletor." Shang Tsung explained.

SKELETOR was no longer limited to the powers of a demi-god. He'd become a force now that even He-Man would find unstoppable. Shao Khan knew that the affects of this change could threaten the existence of the Outworld. Quan Chi had no intentions of letting Skeletor live. Regardless of his new found powers. Tomorrow they'll fall in defeat.

THE NEW WORLD

There was an explosion in the Galaxy of Outworld.  A new planet had evolved in a short period of time.  The Red Reaper had come to wipe out the bad deeds of the Evil Forces.

"I have had enough of this. I control the Outworld,  and I will not be intimidated by an entity that hides when they attack." Shao Khan tells them all.

THE CRY OF THE WOLF

The savages. The Indians from the past had returned in spirit form, but were actively working to become a solid state figure for combat purposes,  but Khan had challenged them all to fight him. The Red Reaper took the spot against Shao Khan.

Nightwolf could feel his ancestors inside of him. He could hear the wolves howling, and calling upon the God's to save them all. Shao Khan vs The Red Reaper...

READY...FIGHT!!!

As Shao Khan teleported, and continued to open with a bang. The Red Reaper wanted The Power of Souls back. They had lost it when Khan defeated Freddy Krueger.

The Red Reaper was hit so many times that Shao Khan wasn't visible to the eye. He had become an electronic force, and coursed through the Red Reaper with enough force to resurrect the dead Indian Tribe lost in the darkness of the Outworld 's Shadow Lands.

SHAO KHAN ... WINS
FLAWLESS VICTORY

The Next Fight
Leonardo vs Hordak

The next fight had been called. Shao Khan selected Leonardo of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. To face off against Hordak the former mentor of Skeltor.

"This is a good one! One of those more surprising matches! Both Leonardo and Hordak are great warriors, with excellent martial arts, tactics, strategy, and intelligence!" - Johnny Cage...Reporting!!!

This should be a great battle between two skilled fighters. Leonardo is a ninja turtle who has great ninja skills and can control his nunchuks well. Hordak is a powerful warrior from the Horde, who has immense strength and powerful weaponry.

The Mortal Kombat Super Tournament
The tournament has given us some wild surprises and shocking outcomes. Captain America was a favorite to be here until the end, but a massive upset from Omni-Man eliminated the man of Red, White, and Blue. We've seen the longest battle between Goro and The Abomination. We saw another favorite in Raiden destroyed by Martian Manhunter and his relentless attack.

Leonardo is the leader of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He's a highly skilled ninja warrior and he thinks incredibly fast. He's highly skilled with the Katana Blades.

His opponent is Hordak the leader of the Horde. They'd tried to overthrow Skeltor and capture the secrets that were hidden within the castle. Their attempts were feeble, but they remained persistent. Only now that they know Skeltor has a better team around him.  They've joined Skeltor in an alliance. If you can't beat them - Join them.

Shang Tsung teleports into the courtyard. Quan Chi also materialized. "Where's Khan?" Superman asked.

"The next fight has been called." Quan Chi says.

"Something is not right." Superman said.

Super Mortal Kombat

Ready Fight!!!

Leonardo from TMNT and Hordak from He-Man stand facing each other in the Soul Chamber, both prepared for battle.

The chamber is a massive arena, with walls of souls screaming in agony as if they were alive. Shao Kahn observes the fight from above, eager to see who will emerge victorious.
Leonardo, armed with his twin katanas, charges towards Hordak with lightning-fast speed.

Hordak, being a powerful and seasoned warrior, quickly assesses the situation and responds with a powerful blast of energy from his staff.

The blast sends Leonardo sprawling across the ground, but he rapidly recovers and counterattacks with a series of quick slashes from his swords.

The fight continues, with Leonardo using his swift agility and nimble footwork to dodge and weave around Hordak's attacks.

Hordak, using his strength and experience, counterattacks with powerful strikes and blasts. The battle is intense, and both warriors are evenly matched in skill and cunning. Leonardo manages to land a few blows on Hordak, but Hordak's strength and resilience allow him to shrug off the attacks and continue fighting.

As the fight continues, Leonardo seems to be gaining the upper hand. He uses his agile movements and quick reflexes to dodge Hordak's attacks and land a series of blows.

However, it is clear that Hordak is not giving up easily and is looking for an opportunity to counterattack. The battle is intense and thrilling, with both warriors testing each other's limits. Leonardo continues to use his agility and speed to outmaneuver Hordak, but Hordak remains strong and resilient. The outcome is uncertain.

Leonardo continues to dominate the fight, using his nimbleness and speed to dodge Hordak's attacks and land quick, powerful blows. However, Hordak doesn't back down and uses his immense strength and experience to land a few powerful counterattacks. The fight continues to be fierce and intense; both warriors are giving it their all.

Eventually, Leonardo lands a final, decisive blow that knocks Hordak down.

FINISH HIM

Leonardo stands victorious in the Soul Chamber, Shao Kahn watching with satisfaction from above.
Leonardo Wins
