Mortal Kombat: The Tournament of Souls

Shao Khan has his Super Tournament established and ready to begin. The first fight would soon be announced. The first fight would take place in the Bad Lands.

THIS IS MORTAL KOMBAT - Shao Khan teleported into the courtyard. 

"Fight #1 Wolverine vs Reptile" Shao Khan announced. 

Wolverine approached the circle. Shang Tsung teleports him to the Bad Lands. Reptile enters the portal with a run and back flip into the portal. 

READY  FIGHT!!!

Wolverine approached Reptile with speed and agility. His claws extracted he swipes at Reptile, but he teleported from harms way. Reptile roundhouse kicks Wolverine with no real damage done. He vanishes again into thin air. Reptile reappears with a  tail. Which he used to sweep Wolverine. Quickly the Wolverine was back up on his feet. 

The fight was near the five minute mark. Both guys performing with maximum agility. Wolverine slashed and dashed his way through the thin air. Reptile catches him with single hits and kicks. Another spin kick lands.

"I've had about enough of you." Wolverine shouts. 

Reptile lands the fight's first meaningful blow. Acid spit right in Wolverine's face. It burned him all the way down to his Adamantium skeleton. 

Reptile proceeds to attacking the Wolverine as the acid burns rapidly begin to heal. Reptile continued to attack for as long as he had an opening to strike. 

"Your luck is running out, bub." Wolverine continued to slash. 

The fight had gone on for twenty minutes. Still strategically and tactically the fight carried on. 

Wolverine spins around the claws caught Reptile, and fatally wounded him. Reptile tries to teleport, but he no longer had the stamina or strength to do so.

FINISH HIM!!!

The Wolverine slashed into Reptile cutting his torso in half....

FATALITY!!!

The fight was a bloody example of what was to come. The Kombatants wondered if they'd see such a brutal ending to their life. There was a solemn feeling among the Heroes 

Fight #2 

The next two Kombatants have been announced. The battlefield will be The Ruins. 

Ryu will take on Jax. These 2 highly skilled Kombatants will use whatever means that are necessary to rise to victory. 

READY...FIGHT!!!

 The two fighters stand facing each other in the octagon, ready to begin their match. Jax steps forward and throws a powerful jab, which Ryu dodges and counters with a kick. As the fight ensues, Ryu moves around the ring, using his fast and effective fighting style to land several strikes while avoiding Jax’s powerful blows.

Jax charges at Ryu, but Ryu ducks and throws a powerful punch at Jax's gut. The two fighters continue to exchange blows, but Ryu’s superior speed and technique give him the upper hand. Both fighters are clearly exhausted, with blood spewing from their lips.

As the third round starts, both fighters are growing weary, but both show an incredible amount of determination. Jax throws a flurry of punches, but Ryu avoids them all and lands a powerful flying kick, sending Jax sprawling across the rocks. 

Jax gets back up and charges back towards Ryu, but Ryu swiftly moves out of the way and counters with a powerful blow to Jax’s face. The blow sends Jax crashing to ground. 

FINISH HIM!!!

The winner was Ryu. He did not choose to end the life of Jax. No finishing move. 

"He's weak. His conscious wouldn't allow him to finish him. Ryu showed mercy to his opponent." QUAN CHI says. 

"He easily defeated Jax." Khan explained. "Easily could've killed him."

FIGHT... #3 

The fight would be in Eternia at Castle Greyskull. 

READY...FIGHT!!!

The Flash zips through the battle zone. Ken takes his position and gets in his fighting stance. His concentration is on point. When the fight starts Ken would be ready. 

Ken uses his ability to slow down the actions unfolding before him, but The Flash brought speed he couldn't do anything with. It was lightning fast. A red trail of what had once been The Flash.

When the strikes started hitting Ken he was unable to see the opposition. His punches and kicks missed into thin air. The Flash continued to pick him apart with hits at speeds that practically made him invisible.  Masterson never found the answer, and was beaten over a long tit for tat fight. 

FINISH HIM!!!

The Flash tied Ken up with his martial arts belt. He was defeated and humbled. 

FLAWLESS VICTORY!!!

"Ken Masters is an incredible fighter, and someone who must fight him hand to hand probably loses, but unfortunately for him I wasn't forced to go hands and feet with him." The Flash's statement. 

Shao Khan nods his head to Flash's impressive victory. Before calling the next fight...

The fighters waited in anticipation of the names that would be called. When it was your time you just had to be ready to fight. These warriors were all warrior, but nobody handles being caught cold. 

FIGHT #4

The next two Kombatants have been announced Kratos against Juggernaut. 

READY FIGHT!!!

Juggernaut charged at Kratos full force. His endless strength allowed him to plow through anything in his path. Kratos, on the other hand, was quick on his feet, dodging and rolling to avoid being caught.

Juggernaut swung his fists, aiming to knock Kratos off his feet, but Kratos managed to evade. He knew that his only chance was to find a weak spot or a way to overpower his foe.

Kratos threw his Blades of Chaos at Juggernaut, hoping to entangle him and slow him down, but Juggernaut shrugged them off.

Kratos knew he needed to try something different. He reached for his Leviathan Axe.

With a mighty swing, Kratos hurled the axe at Juggernaut. It was a direct hit, embedding itself in Juggernaut's chest. The impact made him stumble back, but only for a moment.

Juggernaut roared with anger and charged forward again. He aimed to crush Kratos with his overwhelming strength. But Kratos was prepared. He dodged to the side and then swung his blades at Juggernaut's legs. The powerful attack staggered him, but he quickly regained his footing.

With Juggernaut stunned, Kratos seized the opportunity to go in for the kill. He lunged at Juggernaut and hacked away with his blades, trying to find a weak spot. But Juggernaut's skin was tough and resistant to the attacks. He roared in pain but quickly recovered and pushed Kratos back with a thunderous blow.

Kratos stumbled back, but quickly regained his balance. He knew he couldn't give up. He had to find a way to defeat this unstoppable foe. With gritted teeth, he launched another assault at Juggernaut.

The battle raged on, with each fighter giving their all. Kratos could feel the fatigue setting in, but he refused to give up. With every strike, he channeled all of his strength and skill into his weapons.

Juggernaut, on the other hand, remained relentless, never slowing down or tiring. He charged forward with all his might, attempting to crush Kratos beneath his fists.

The powerful attack staggered Kratos. The next shot from Juggernaut eliminated Kratos. When he was rammed the bones in his body broke like sticks. He was fatally wounded internally. 

FINISH HIM!!!

Juggernaut picked Kratos up and punched him before he rammed him for good. The Juggernaut beat his chest knowing that it sent a message to the rest. 

"WHO'S NEXT?"

The other fighters could see that these battles were becoming more intense. Shao Khan was impressed by that fight. The next fight had to be a good one. 

The Next Fight 

The next battle will be between Colossus and He-Man. The winner moves on and the loser will be eliminated like all the fights in this Kompetition. He-Man vs. Colossus in the Earth Realm. 

He-Man vs Colossus- in the Earth Realm: FIGHT #5

READY FIGHT!!!

The next two Kombatants take their places. The proving ground is set. 

Colossus and He-Man squared off, their fists clenched and their gazes locked in determination. The battle began with Colossus charging forward, his metallic form glinting in the light. He-Man stood firm, ready to defend himself against the powerful opponent. As Colossus drew close, He-Man dodged to the side and retaliated with a fierce punch that sent Colossus stumbling backwards.

Colossus regained his balance and lunged at He-Man again, aiming to strike him with his fists. He-Man dodged the attack and retaliated with a powerful kick that sent Colossus flying into a nearby wall. Colossus got up, his metallic form denting the concrete wall upon impact.

He-Man didn't waste any time, and quickly closed in on Colossus while he was still disoriented. He charged forward and delivered a powerful punch to Colossus's torso, denting the metal. Colossus roared in pain and fury, and lunged at He-Man with a flurry of punches.

He-Man skillfully dodged and weaved through the barrage of punches, showing his incredible agility and reflexes. He took advantage of Colossus's exposed back and delivered a quick strike, causing Colossus to stumble forward. Without missing a beat, He-Man grabbed the Lasso of Truth from his belt and wrapped it around Colossus's metallic form.

With the lasso tight around Colossus's torso, He-Man tightened it, constricting the space around him and making it difficult for him to move. Colossus struggled against the lasso, but his efforts were futile. He-Man then gave a mighty tug, causing Colossus to cry out in pain and lose his footing.

He-Man saw this as an opportunity to end the fight and delivered a final, powerful punch to Colossus's chest, causing his metallic form to dent and crack. Colossus toppled to the ground, defeated and unable to continue the fight. He-Man stood victorious, his strength and skills having proven superior.

Snake Mountain 

Skeletor watched He-Man beat Colossus through h

is crystal ball. That was just the beginning of the tournament, but he didn't even want He-Man to escape that fight with his life. Skeletor knew that beating He-Man would be a task for whoever had to take him on. 

"Well Done He-Man, but we shall see what your future holds in store." Skeletor laughs. 

FIGHT #6 

Shao Khan was satisfied with the tournament. This sixth fight would soon take place. The Batman....hmm. Joker wants to see his nemesis dead. It's time to kill Batman.  

The 6th fight is between Nightwolf and Batman. 

"This one is for you Joker. The spirit of the past returns" 

Batman enters the portal. The sounds of the wolf howling left an eerie feeling among the Heroes. Nightwolf vanishes into thin air. 

Ready...FIGHT!!!

There was an intense silence in the air.

Batman and Nightwolf stood a few feet apart, facing each other with their muscles tense and ready to fight.

They were both ready for a fierce battle.

Suddenly, without warning, Nightwolf sprang into motion.

He ran towards Batman with a roar and threw the first punch.

Batman reacted instantly, blocking the punch with his gauntlets.

The two of them now entered into a fast and furious exchange of blows.

They were throwing powerful punches and kicks, and their blows were landing with resounding thuds.

The fight was intense.

Batman and Nightwolf were both skilled fighters, and neither was holding back.

They were both determined to win.

Batman was using his martial arts and gadgets to defend and attack, making him a difficult target to hit.

But Nightwolf was no slouch either.

He was fighting with all his might and was using his supernatural speed and agility to his advantage.

The two of them were locked in a tight battle.

As the fight continued, Batman began to take his advantage.

He was using his fighting techniques to catch Nightwolf off-guard.

But Nightwolf was also showing cunning.

He was able lay a few good solid hits on Batman.

They were both panting now, and they were both beginning to show signs of wear.

But they were also both determined.

Both were determined to come out of this fight victorious.

And so, the fight continued on and on, neither of them willing to give in.

As they kept fighting, they were both getting more bruised and battered.

But their fighting spirit was still strong.

Batman kept up his techniques with fast reflexes and quick thinking.

And Nightwolf kept his focus on the attack, launching relentless blows at Batman.

They were both on their last breath now.

It was evident that they were both getting tired.

Finally, Nightwolf landed a brutal punch to the right side of Batman’s face.

Batman staggered back from the impact, and he was clearly shaken.

But Nightwolf wasn't done yet.

He immediately followed up the punch with a brutal kick to Batman's chest.

Batman was thrown against the wall and slumped down to the ground, gasping for air.

FINISH HIM!!!

Nightwolf pulls a green glowing arrow loads his bow and shot Batman in the chest with deadly accurate shot. Where Batman disappeared into a numerically coded portal. 

Shao Khan Nods Enthusiastically. 

They had all witnessed Batman being finished off by Nightwolf. There was a solemn feeling among those who stand for good on Earth. The wolf howling continued. Bringing an eerie feeling among the group.  

"I never really knew the bat." Wolverine says. "I'm a good judge of character though and I know he stood for justice." 

"Yes..." Superman said. 

"Hey, it could be anyone of us next." He-Man says. "You've got to stay ready." 

The portal had been opened with Skeletor and Shao Khan. 

"The Mortal Kombat Tournament is a success. I do hope you're paying attention to it Skeletor." Shao Khan tells him. 

"Yes I have been watching, and He-Man has survived." 

"He is very strong. His strength, agility,  and power is incredible." Khan explained. 

Shao Khan could tell Skeletor had increased in power himself. He had become another level since Khan had last been in his presence. 

"I want you to supply me with some more fighters. You have taken the Joker into your outfit." Khan says. 

"Yes I have, Khan." 

"YOU GIVE ME SOMETHING. GIVE ME YOUR FIGHTERS." Khan demanded. 

"Yes. I will give you fighters. You get rid of He-Man." Skeletor says. 

"Skeletor...my gift to you is for you to rule your dimensions and Eternia. My real gift to you is to allow you to live." 

"I will get you the fighters." Skeletor says. 

FIGHT #7 

Quan Chi stood beside Khan. 

ROBOCOP vs Kabal 

Kabal is a former Black Dragon gang member, now turned mercenary, with a deadly speed ability. Robocop is an enhanced cyborg police officer. They are here to fight and to settle their differences.

As they stood there, staring at each other, the tension was palpable.

Kabal broke the silence with a taunting remark. "You think you can handle me, tin can?"

Robocop, stoic as ever, responded coldly, "I am equipped with state-of-the-art weaponry and combat programming. You stand no chance."

Kabal just scoffed at that, a sly grin on his face. "We'll see about that."

And then, suddenly, he was off.

Backed by his incredible speed, the battle had begun.

Kabal flew forward with superhuman speed, his blades extended.

But Robocop was quick to react. He pulled out his high-tech auto-9 firearm and began firing rapid fire at the speeding Kabal.

But Robocop was equipped with an armor strong enough to deflect the slashes.

He then returned fire, his auto-9 pistol firing off rounds at close range.

Kabal continued to dodge the bullets, but the near-constant stream of fire made it challenging for him to get closer.

He tried to maneuver around Robocop, looking for an opening.

Meanwhile, Robocop was calculating the best way to defeat Kabal.

He noticed that Kabal was relying heavily on his speed and was trying to get closer.

Robocop knew that his best chance of victory was to exploit that weakness.

Thus, when Kabal moved in again, trying to close the distance, Robocop was ready.

As soon as Kabal came close enough, Robocop unleashed a powerful kick to the chest, propelling Kabal backwards.

The kick sent Kabal sprawling back across the alley.

But Kabal quickly regained his bearings and immediately sprung back up onto his feet.

He had underestimated Robocop's strength.

This fight was going to be tougher than he thought.

Undeterred, Kabal charged back in, this time feinting low and then leaping over Robocop's head.

He attempted to catch Robocop off guard and strike him from behind.

But the former police officer was too experienced to fall for such tricks.

As Kabal tried to get behind him, Robocop spun around quickly and slammed his elbow into Kabal's chest, sending him flying back.

The impact of the blow was brutal, and it knocked the wind out of Kabal for a moment.

Kabal, however, wasn't done yet.

Despite the pain, he forced himself up again and then began circling around Robocop, trying to look for a weak point in his opponents armor.

But Robocop was too vigilant to let Kabal have any such opportunity.

He tracked Kabal's movement closely with his auto-targeting sensors and prepared to counterattack if Kabal made a move.

Kabal, having realized he couldn't seem to find an opening, tried another tactic. 

He began to taunt Robocop, hoping to bait him into making a mistake.

"What's the matter, robocops? You scared of a little speed?"

However, Robocop was a machine and didn't fall for mind games. 

He responded with a cold voice, "I am not programmed to feel fear. You will be defeated."

Seeing that his taunting wasn't going to do anything, Kabal changed his approach.

He attacked again, but this time he tried to exploit a different angle. 

He attempted to use his speed to dodge any incoming attacks and get close enough to use his blades against the openings in Robocop's armor.

As Kabal darted around the alley, trying to get close, Robocop began to adjust his strategy.

He knew that simply relying on his armor to defend against the blades was unwise.

Instead, he started to keep track of Kabal's patterns of movement and anticipate his next move.

Meanwhile, Kabal was starting to feel the impacts of the fight. 

He was starting to tire out, and the constant dodging was taking its toll on his stamina.

Robocop, on the other hand, was programmed for endurance and could continue fighting for hours without rest.

Sensing Kabal's exhaustion, Robocop decided to take advantage of the moment.

He waited for Kabal to charge in again and then, with a calculated move, grabbed hold of one of Kabal's blades as he attempted a slash.

Using his iron grip and immense strength, Robocop pulled the blade free from Kabal's hand, forcing Kabal to drop it and stumble backwards.

Now, Robocop had taken away Kabal's primary advantage.

Kabal was stunned, now realizing that he was in trouble.

Robocop was now wielding two blades, and he was much more powerful in close-quarters combat.

But Kabal was not the type to give up that easily.

He quickly got back to his feet and surveyed the situation. 

He could see that his odds of winning this fight were dwindling by the second.

So, he decided on one last-ditch effort.

He used his speed to dart away, creating distance between himself and Robocop.

Kabal, realizing what was happening, attempted to dodge the projectiles.

But the blades flew at speeds beyond anything he could have anticipated. 

One blade cut deep into his shoulder, and the second one embedded itself in his thigh!

FINISH HIM!!!

With Kabal wounded and in pain, Robocop approached him coldly.

Kabal tried to move back, but his injuries made it impossible.

Robocop raised his auto-9 pistol and aimed it directly at Kabal's head.

And then, with chilling precision, he said: "Statement: Judgment is death."

Without mercy, he pulled the trigger, dispatching Kabal with a fatal shot to the head.

THE ABOMINATION 

vs

GORO

READY FIGHT!!!

The Abomination steps into the portal. Transported to the Shadow Realm. Goro is transferred to the Shadow Realm by Shao Khan. 

The two beasts square off . Goro quickly springs into action attacking The Abomination. The two beasts continued on fighting. 

Goro grabbed the Abomination with two hands, and beat the hell out of him with the other two. The Abomination fought back evening out the damage. 

The two beasts square off after thirty-five minutes neither beast had taken the upper hand. Punching, tackling,  and throwing each other around. 

They continue to tussle and fight past the one hour mark. Goro managed to take a rear choke on The Abomination. The big green hulking beast went down.  Cells in his DNA flickering and flashing. 

The Abomination appeared to be getting stronger. He continued to grow is size. On the brink of defeat. Now fought back with an intensity that hadn't previously been untouched. 

The monsters continue to exchange blows and neither was weakening or fading. The Abomination would rapidly heal when hurt. Goro was just extremely tough. His intensity was still off the charts. 

Goro knew that the damage needed to damage this Hulk would have to be catastrophic. The damage would need to be of maximum force. The battle raged on. The intense battle had gone on for hours. 

The Abomination had caught Goro with a series of vicious attacks. The fight was finally going the way of The Abomination. He pounded Goro with powerful blows. Goro quickly regained his strength and his skills and agility saved his life. 

Blow after blow these beasts kept fighting. Showing that whomever advanced would be impossible to stop. These two monsters couldn't be beaten. Goro manifests fireballs and threw them at The Abomination. Goro hit him with a flame punch. 

The rammed each other with enough force to equal two atomic bombs. Lightning strikes up in the sky. From the kinetic energy from massive impacts. 

The fight was intense and had now gone on for five and a half hours. Powerful hits continue to land with substantial force. The lightning strikes across the dark skies. The mammoths continued to attack and hold.  Trying to use their emense strength to try and rip each other apart. The two warriors continued to fight for position. 

The battle raged on into the seventh hour. As Goro grabbed The Abomination with two hands and bashed his head in with his other hands. He harnesses his fire and with his fireball punches burned The Abomination burning him. 

Goro continued to pound on The Abomination. Hitting him with fireballs, and spinning punches. The Abomination would rapidly heal, but Goro bashed his skull in at a rate the healing powers couldn't keep up with. Goro quickly regained his leverage and broke The Abomination's neck it one fatal maneuver. 

FINISH HIM!!!

Goro grabbed The Abomination with four arms and ripped him in half. Then slung his body in different directions. Pounds his chest in victory. Rage flowed within him.
