Superman & Batman: Calling the Troops - Khan's MORTAL KOMBAT
Superman stood bravely as he spoke to Khan. The words coming out of his mouth weren't even important. There was far more to it than that. Shao Khan knew that he could potentially be looking at the winner of the tournament.
They're here. Our guests are here to prove something. Khan starts clapping. Go show them the way into the training and resting headquarters.
"WE ARE HERE, KHAN..." Superman sounds off.
Shang Tsung walked out the corridor to meet them. He sized them up as he approached them. "What do we have here?"
"This is Batman". Superman introduced his teammate.
"Is this man a mortal? I sense he's a mortal man..."Shang Tsung asked.
"Yes." Superman replied.
"No worries Shang Tsung, Batman is a formidable opponent." Quan Chi says, as he walks up.
From the distance a man was seen entering the arena. He seemed to be approaching fast and Quan Chi didn't exactly like it. He was now at a full speed run, and Quan Chi threw a safety net on him. The green electric net held him.
"That's Logan...THE WOLVERINE" Khan announced to Quan Chi.
"He's angry, captain." Chi said. I'm going to zap his strength."
Shao Kahn laughed. As he watched. "This is quality entertainment."
Quan Chi released the net which he'd reverse charged to drain Wolverine. Only as soon as he released the net, an angrier Wolverine approached them.
"That didn't work." Quan Chi said.
"Khan....I'm going to have to kill this man. Do you want me to FINISH HIM?"
"No...let Superman talk to him." Khan ordered from above.
Superman did as Khan wanted. He walked out to the net that held Logan.
"So you're Wolverine?"
"Yeah, Bub...and I'm not too happy about this. Let me down from here, and we can dance."
"Well you see I'm not the one who's behind this. I am Superman from Earth."
"Listen up, Superman. You get me outta here, and we can clean the rest of them out. What do ya say?"
"No...they are requesting that you calm down and talk with them."
"I'm not too big on talking, but I suppose we could have a chat." Logan says.
Superman and Wolverine walked side by side. Quan Chi didn't flinch as Logan joined the rest.
"The next time the net gets thrown on me, I'm going to kill somebody."
"EASY...calm down now."
"Are you implying something that you want to stand behind?"
"NO.!! the more powerful Shang Tsung ordered.
The lonely man David Banner walked out of the shadows of the dark. Peter Parker also walked into the courtyard.
"Who are these mortals?" Quan Chi asked.
"Those are not mere mortals, Quan Chi." Shang Tsung.
"That man can transform into a hulking green monster." Shang Tsung informed him. "This one here has the ability of a spider. He is the Amazing Spider-Man."
"If they breathe and bleed, then they can die." Quan Chi says.
A powerful light beam shot across the courtyard. The beam left a portal from a far away bad land, but left something in the meantime.
"What is that??" Quan Chi asked in a demanding tone.
"Shao Khan didn't mention this to me." Shang Tsung announced.
Shao Khan: Skeltor the evil operator from Eternia sent us this A+ level warrior. This is He-Man the most powerful man in the Universe.
"Stand down." Tsung told the others.
He-Man was a huge specimen. He wore battle gear that looked prehistoric in the Earth time-line. Big and muscular he looked like a Hulk.
"You ever wondered what you look like David when you transform?"
Banner shoots him a look.
"Well it's true."

There he is...
"That man is not of the Earth Realm."
"NO...he's prince of Eternia."
He-Man approached the gang of super heroes. He drew his Power Sword.
"Who wants to answer some questions?" He-Man asked.
Superman steps forward and He-Man looks him up and down.
"Well aren't you the colorful one?"
"I'm Superman."
"Which one of you are with Skeletor or making deals with him? Why am I here?" He-Man inquired.
"We don't know this Skeletor that you speak of." Superman replied.
"Shao Khan knows him...Khan knows him well." Shang Tsung says.
"Skeltor wants you dead. Unless you can do battle....that's exactly what you will be...dead."
The Flash came zipping through the middle. So fast in and out that he heard the conversation that was taking place. He landed beside He-Man.
"I think we should help him back to Eternia." Flash adds.
"He stays, and he fights. Unless Khan tells me otherwise." Shang Tsung said.
"Most of you will not leave here alive." Tsung says to the group.
This comment didn't sit well with Wolverine, as his blades extracted from his hands.
"Don't make this mistake, Logan. I will harvest your soul right now." Shang Tsung explained.
"I am Ryu and this is Bolrog." Two more arrivals"
"Have a seat, men." Quan Chi says.
But with him was Bane. Batman knows Bane all too well. They'd been in plenty of battles. He was promised that he could kill Batman in Mortal Kombat.
"Look at that guy. He's like seven foot tall. Probably four hundred pounds." Logan says.
"The Joker and Bane." Batman struggles to keep himself composed. "I could kill them both right now."
"What are you gonna do?" Joker taunts Batman.
"Oh Bane here isn't the only addition to the party." The Joker laughed. "This guy was trying to find his way here, and turned back to look."
The ground shook, and something was thumping its way towards them. Logan knew the guy well. The Juggernaut. Where's Khan...tell him I need to discuss business with him.
"Send him in....alone." Shang Tsung said.
They let the Joker enter, and he was getting a direct visit with Shao Khan. Straight to the man in charge.

IMMUNITY GRANTED!!! Khan says.
"Thank you." The Joker replied.
"Bring me more warriors, more fighters..." Shao Khan enticed Joker.
"Yes...I'll find you more."
New Friends & Old Enemies
The spots were filling in nicely. The field was impressive with Martian Manhunter joining the tournament. Captain America and Thor following up.
Batman challenges the Joker as he exits the the conference with Khan.
"Oh...the Bat."
"Stop right there, Joker...you and me. Come on you coward. Fight me now."
"OH...Batman....you do know that you're soon to be permanently eliminated. Hahaha."
Shag Tsung opened the portal. The Joker was headed back to the Earth Realm, until Skeletor altered his path. The Joker finds himself on Eternia.
Skeletor stands above the disoriented and confused Joker. When he looked up he saw the Evil Emperor of Eternia.
"Who are you, and where am I?" Joker asked.
"You are with me now...because I like the way you operate."
Joker looks at him with curiosity. Puzzled by this detour back to Earth.
"Just what do you have in mind?" Joker inquired.
"You help me...and I help you. Those who'd stop us are fighting in the tournament." Skeletor explains.
Skeletor wasn't done yet. His plan had fallen into place so far, and this Joker was the just the beginning. Soon he'd rule Eternia. The cold dark cloud was coming down.
Skeletor unleashed the powers. Hidden within Castle Greyskull. His strength now could match that of He-Man.
The Stolen Powers of Greyskull
Duncan knew that Skeletor had overtaken Castle Greyskull, and he now held powers. Teela had sent the red alert to their allies. Skeletor had a Power Sword that held the powers that Greyskull hid within.
"Hordak...with our past I should overthrow you, but I can use a man like you." Skeletor ruled.
"I'm not sure what you've done with He-Man, but he's going to kill you for sure."
"No...Hordak. I'm am the most powerful entity in Eternia. I hold the power...do you dare to find out?"
"I never thought you would outmatch He-Man, but it appears that you have ole friend."
"YES!!! So who's side are you on?" Skeletor laughed.
