Mortal Kombat: By the Powers of Greyskull

The Taking of Castle Greyskull 

Shao Khan was about to announce the next fight in the tournament. He watched closely as a portal opened up inside the Master's Chambers...

  Skeletor walked out of the portal from Eternia. 

"Skeltor, oh how glad I am to see you, my friend." 

Skeletor observed the the scene. Knowing that he just entered the unknown, but at the same time he knew. The Dark Sorceress had been summoned by Skeletor. The all knowing Dark Sorceress. 

"Yes, Khan...it seems we have a problem. Nothing you and I can't work out." 

"How would you like me to assist you with this issue, Skeletor?" 

" I don't wish to eliminate your right hand man, but it seems he has bigger plans."

"The Ambitious one." Khan laughs. 

"Soon to the deceased one. The one that was. Those powers that he possesses would be a difficult loss to overcome." Skeletor explained to Khan. 

Shang Tsung teleports into the Master's Chambers. Skeletor observed his entrance to the room. Shao Khan knew he was there without looking. 

 

"Skeletor...you have my word that we will address these issues that you bring before me." Shao Khan assures him. "Would you like to join me as we announce the next fight?" 

The next fight has been announced. Fighters...make your way to the Kombat Arena. This is Mortal Kombat!!!

The Kombat Arena 

•Fight called by: Jimmy of the Daily Planet 

The fight begins with both characters testing each other's abilities, with Allen Snider using his acrobatic movements and martial arts skills to match Raphael's strength and ninjutsu. The battle is intense and action-packed, with both characters using their unique skills and powers to try and gain the upper hand. Eventually, Snider gets the better of Raphael, landing a final punch that knocks him down and incapacitates him. The fight is over, and Snider emerges victorious, holding his arm up in triumph.

•Fight Called by: Johnny Cage 

Raphael and Allen Snider meet in the ring, ready to battle. Raphael, the feisty and quick-witted Turtle, and Allen Snider, the cocky and confident Street Fighter, square off. They eye each other with suspicion, each silently studying their opponent. The fight begins with a quick exchange of fists, but the outcome becomes clear as Allen Snider quickly gains the upper hand, using his powerful punches and kicks to send Raphael stumbling backwards. Despite Raphael's best efforts, Allen Snider's strength and agility prove to be too much for him, and he ultimately falls defeated.

FINISH HIM!!!

The fight was over, and Leo who'd already won looked on with sorrow and sadness. It wasn't supposed to be this way. Raphael should've been able to beat that guy. That traveler shouldn't have been able to defeat Raphael at all, but especially not so easy. Leonardo was suspicious of that outcome. It just didn't look right. 

Curiosity was turning into anger. Leonardo was pacing the floor and running his plan over in his mind. 

Leonardo wasn't the only one who was angry. "Where is the Turtle that just fought?" 

"I'll retrieve him, sir." The guard says. 

Shang Tsung teleports into the room with Raphael. The fully equipped guard was going to get him. 

"HOLD IT" Shao Khan shouts. 

"HOW DARE YOU INSULT MY TOURNAMENT BY GIVING UP AND LAYING DOWN!!" Shao Khan angrily shouts. 

"I didn't lay down on your contest." Raphael says hastily.  

"Do you hear this? Do you hear this disrespect for my authority? This weaklings gives up, and talks this way to a man who'll fight until death?" Shao Khan was angry. 

"I tried to tell..."

"SHUT UP, TURTLE." Khan shouted. "This time...you fight until death." 

READY...FIGHT!!! 

Shao Khan teleported Raphael and himself to the Soul Chamber. 

"Alright, you want to fight. I'll give you a fight. You're gonna pay for this." Raphael says angrily. 

Shao Khan stood straight up waiting for the attack. Raphael does a flip-kick and lands it on Shao Khan. The kick landed square in the center of his chest. Shao Khan stood there like a brick wall. He laughed at Raphael. 

Shao Khan kicked The Turtle and he flew backwards. The impact of the kick was equivalent to a car hitting you at cruising speed. Raphael was trying to figure out what happened to him. The kick to the chest was fast and the impact was deadly. Raphael was knocked out. Khan stood there waiting for a real challenge.  

"GET UP, TURTLE!!!" Khan shouted. 

Raphael still foggy started to slowly remember that he was in a fight. He jumped back to his feet quickly. Khan motioned him to come here. 

"How do you want to die? Fast or Slow?" Shao Khan taunted the turtle. "A Fight So Brutal - So Evil - So Deadly." 

Shao Khan's Shadow Charge rams Raphael hitting him with a powerful shot. Raphael lay motionless on the ground. He power stomped him on the ground.  Khan concludes the beat down here. 

He opens a portal. Then snatched Raphael up from the ground and threw him into the unknown. The Waste-Lands in the Shadow Realm.

THE NEXT FIGHT 

Gouken vs. Sektor 

The Tournament Continues on as these two gladiators clash in an epic battle. The winner will advance, and the loser very well could lose their life. 

This starts off to be an intense battle between two powerful warriors. Sektor is a cybernetic ninja from the Lin Kuei clan. He takes the early advantage over Gouken with several missile attacks. Sektor had started off landing several meaningful blows. 

 Gouken has the advantage in terms of technique and skill. That started to show around five minutes in. Sektor struggled to get anything done on the inside, as Gouken worked him. 

Sektor appeared to have more speed, but that changed quickly once he started to absorbe damage. Gouken power slammed Sektor and the fight took a drastic turn. The two tussle and fight on the ground. Gouken held Sektor down to the ground and pounded his head in. 

Powerful blows from Gouken were damaging Sektor. His cybernetics were breaking down, surging, and glitching. Lost in the intense battle Gouken was in another zone. Sektor had tried to evade the shots earlier, but was now being smashed into pieces. 

FINISH HIM!!!

Gouken picks up the badly destroyed Sektor. He let him go and connected with a powerful spin kick that caved the side of his head in. Gouken walked away business as usual. 

Shao Khan was impressed with how easily Gouken destroyed Sektor.

"Yes King Khan ...that was an amazing fight. Avoiding the missile attacks in the beginning was the difference. He's good. I'll give him that. For as long as it lasted I'd say it was an absolute success." 

"Only when you've had the taste of defeat- Can you appreciate the taste of victory." Shao Khan explained. 

The Battle Within the War

The watching eyes of Quan Chi had been on Greyskull, but he could've taken it had that been his only objective. He intended on bringing the end to Skeletor.

Shang Tsung knew where he was. He had yet to tell Shao Khan, but he was confident that he already knew, so in this case his silence was not going to affect anything. 

Quan Chi says that he knew that Skeletor had improved in overall power. Ultimately he decided that Skeletor had not advanced beyond anything he could handle. Sorcerers facing off was as old as time. Quan Chi continued to watch. Skeletor was on Snake Mountain when Quan Chi teleported into Castle Greyskull.  

"Oh you bad boy...you've been caught with your hand in the cookie jar." Skeletor says from the darkness. 

"Well played, well played. You've outdone yourself, Skeletor." 

"I could've killed you instead, but you understand that I'd rather kill in Mortal Kombat style. Kill you right there in front of Khan." Skeletor threatened.

Shang Tsung teleports into the Master's Chambers to speak with Shao Khan. 

"Well...there you are. I believe that we may have our next fight." Khan says.

"More than you know, sir. Your next match may just be Skeletor against Quan Chi if he doesn't kill him tonight." Shang Tsung  explained. 

Shao Khan looked intently off into the distance. "The desire to rule and dominate. Those qualities are fine qualities to have, but with that comes choices. Some very tough choices." Khan talked out loud.  

The tales of Castle Greyskull 

Shao Kahn didn't like what was going on, but if the tournament could sort this out he felt that it should. Skeletor vs Quan Chi for Eternia. 

THE NEXT FIGHT 

The crowds cheered and celebrated the next match up. You can't really predict any fight, but you can tell when you've got a solid couple of warriors. Two absolute legends. 

Ready...FIGHT!!!

Wonder Woman and Leiu Kang stand facing each other in a small, dimly lit arena. The crowd roars in anticipation as the two fighters size each other up. Wonder Woman's eyes gleam with determination, while Leiu Kang's face is etched with a steely confidence.

 In a flash, Wonder Woman launches herself at Leiu Kang, her fists flying with superhuman speed. Leiu Kang dodges the attacks, but Wonder Woman is relentless. Her punches and kicks are like lightning, too fast to keep track of, and Leiu Kang is just barely managing to defend himself.

The fight continues, with both fighters giving it their all. Leiu Kang's fiery attacks send sparks flying, and Wonder Woman's lasso of truth whips through the air. 

Leiu Kang lands some powerful blows, including his bicycle kick, leaving Wonder Woman temporarily dazed, but she quickly regains her composure and retaliates with a flurry of blows that send Leiu Kang reeling. 

In the end, Wonder Woman's superior skill and athleticism prove to be too much for Leiu Kang, and she lands a powerful punch that sends him crashing to the ground. 

As the crowd chants her name, Wonder Woman stands victorious, her fists raised in triumph. They were in disbelief. How did that woman defeat Kang? 

HUGO ANDORE vs The Incredible Hulk 

The Next Fight 

The  Incredible Hulk takes on The Giant Hugo Andore in Eternia at Castle Greyskull. The fight will be shown in multiple arenas. Check with your local arena for your availability. Betting at all locations. The fight is on. FINISH HIM!!!

KING SHAO KHAN 

The scene was set for an intense battle between two powerful beings. Tremendously strong. The Outworld residents have been looking forward to the Hulk since they'd seen The Abomination defeated by Goro. 

READY...FIGHT!!!

The two behemoths were teleported onto the battle field in front of Castle Greyskull. David Banner had become The Hulk. He entered the portal to Greyskull an angry beast.

The two fighters stand face to face in the center of a large arena, each one sizing up their opponent. The crowd is going wild, their excitement practically palpable as they watch Hugo Andore and the Incredible Hulk prepare to do battle. The first round begins, and the two fighters circle each other cautiously, their eyes locked on each other like those of prowling beasts. 

The Hulk can feel his blood beginning to boil as his anger builds, but he tries to keep his rage simmering just below the surface. Meanwhile, Andore is cool and composed, his eyes scanning every inch of the Hulk’s body as moves into position.

Suddenly, the Hulk charges at Andore with blinding speed, his massive fists flying towards the Russian wrestler’s face. Andore, however, is quicker than he seems and dances around the Hulk’s blows, nimbly weaving out of the way.

The two men circle each other once more, the Hulk’s breathing coming in heavy gasps

"Your moves are all brutish like a gorilla. You can’t even keep up with me!" Andore taunts, a grin plastered across his face, which infuriates the Hulk even further. 

THE HULK...SMASH!!!

The ground shook like an quake had taken place. In a fit of rage, the Hulk lunges forward with a vicious punch to Andore’s stomach. The impact sends the Russian wrestler staggering back a few steps before he regains his balance and responds with a swift kick to the Hulk’s chest. The Hulk seemingly unbothered by the direct hit. He roars like the large green beast that he is. 

Andore continues his attack, stumbling the Hulk with a flurry of blows from all directions. He lands a few powerful kicks to the Hulk’s abdomen and his hands become a blur as he throws punches like a machine gun. The Hulk, caught off-guard, is unable to block all of them and feels the impact of each blow. 

Despite the barrage of blows, the Hulk shows no sign of slowing down. In fact, he seems to be getting stronger from the pain. He throws back an uppercut to Andore’s chin, which connects with a sickening crunch. Andore is thrown off his feet and goes flying backwards into a wall, the force of the blow leaving a large dent in the rocky surface. Hulk roars at him again. 

As Andore staggers up painfully, the Hulk charges at him again throwing a barrage of wild blows. Some land but many are blocked or dodged. The Russian wrestler is nimble and quick on his feet, his movements almost like a ballet when compared to the Hulk’s primitive fighting style.

Andore counters with a swift kick to the Hulk’s kneecap, the impact sending a shockwave through the arena. The Hulk stumbles for a moment before quickly regaining his balance and sending a powerful punch flying towards Andore’s face. The punch slams into Andore with such force that the Russian warrior is sent crashing backwards through the air into a nearby wall, the impact causing the surrounding rubble to fall down around him. The Russian warrior slowly gets back on his feet, a trickle of blood streaming from his lip.The Russian wrestler was hurt, and hurt badly. 

 The Hulk is relentless in his attacks as he continues charging at Andore like a battering ram. Andore, despite having the wind knocked out of him, nimbly dodges the Hulk’s blows, ducking and weaving like a snake. Just as the Hulk throws another punch, he finds that the Russian wrestler has vanished from sight and reappears behind the Hulk.

Before the Hulk can even turn around, Andore lands a powerful kick at the back of his knee, bringing the Hulk down on one knee. The Russian warrior keeps up the pressure, his fists like pistons, slamming into the Hulk’s face, chest, and abdomen.

As the battle rages, the Hulk’s pain and anger gradually give way to an unstoppable wave of pure, raw power. His muscles start to bulge, swelling with unbridled strength as he grows larger before our eyes. Roaring and flexing...he pumped his muscles in preparation of destruction.  

The Hulk is a monstrous sight to behold as he towers over Andore like a mountain, his fists the size of battering rams. With an ground-shaking roar, he charges at the Russian warrior like a freight train. 

The Hulk’s punches rain down on Andore like battering rams, sending shockwaves through the arena with each impact. The Russian warrior is knocked off his feet, his body sent sprawling across the ground before he hits the wall in a crumpled heap.

But the Hulk is not done yet. His fists continue to swing, pounding Andore into the ground over and over again like a pile driver. The roar of the crowd is deafening as they watch the incredible display of force from the Hulk.

The battle had been an intense fight. The Hulk had been in a rage, but now he took in the serenity of the land. Peace overcame him, and he was changing back into Banner. The once angry Hulk now surveyed the land of Eternia through the Banner's eyes.

Cyrax vs Rolento

Ready Fight!!!

 

The spectators gather, bettors are placing bets, 

Cyrax and Rolento stand face to face in a desolate alleyway, their eyes locked in a fierce stare down. Cyrax's fists glow with a brilliant green energy, a stark contrast to Rolento's deadly ninja stars. 

Without warning, Cyrax lunges at Rolento, throwing a vicious punch that connects with a sickening crunch. Rolento staggers backwards, but quickly regains his composure and throws a flurry of ninja stars at Cyrax, catching him off guard.

 The fight escalates into a fierce brawl, with both fighters using every advantage they have. The sparks flying as they hit the ground. 

Cyrax attacks Rolento with a flying kick, but Rolento dodges it and then lands a hard punch on Cyrax.

Cyrax then lands a hard knee strike on Rolento's chest, and Rolento is pushed back. Both fighters have taken damage, but neither of them is giving up yet.

Rolento charges in with a shoulder attack, while Cyrax prepares for it by crouching down.

Rolento hits Cyrax while he’s crouching down, and Cyrax is stunned. The two warriors exchange blows. Rolento hits Cyrax hard with the staff. 

Cyrax tries to counter attack, but Rolento is faster and dodges it. Again he's hit with the staff and badly damaged. 

The cybernetic enhancements start to pop and sizzle. Rolento  then continues to attack Cyrax with a series of fast punches and kicks.

Cyrax is defending well, but he's suffered severe damage. He's  programed to kill. So he continues to attack Rolento despite not operating at a high level anymore.  

Rolento was tired and he was hurt. Not bad enough that he couldn't seize the moment, and harnesses the strength to continue fighting. Rolento charges with a flurry of blows with the staff. Cyrax then lands a powerful punch that sends Rolento crashing to the ground.  He stands over him and snapped the staff over his knee. 

Cyrax eventually retaliates with a high kick, and hits Rolento right in the face. Rolento stumbles back from the kick, but he quickly attacks Cyrax again. 

Rolento and Cyrax both continue to exchange hits.

Cyrax is using his now failing cybernetic enhancements well to keep up with Rolento. When Rolento lands a brutal game ending roundhouse kick that sends Cyrax to the ground...

FINISH HIM!!!

Rolento picks up a total defeated and beaten Cyrax. He does a flip-kick that catches him under the chin. It breaks the whole face shield and snapped Cyrax's neck. Rolento staggers back to his defeated opponent and rips his head off completely.  Holds it up as the crowd cheers loudly. 

"Well Done..."  Shao Khan shouts. 

The next fight has been announced....

There was a different feeling among the spectators for this fight. The bettors were taking over the lines and putting the money in all over the place. The favorite between the two fighters was close. Moloch was powerful and strong.  While Sindel is quick and nimble. Able to fly and possesses magical powers. 

Moloch and Sindel are standing in the middle of an abandoned street. They are looking at each other with intense anger and determination.

Moloch is a huge and fearsome demon, with a hulking frame, sharp claws, and glowing red eyes.

Sindel, on the other hand, is a beautiful but deadly witch. She is wearing a flowing gown, and she has a staff in her hand.

Moloch charges first, trying to overwhelm Sindel with his size and speed. However, Sindel dodges his attack and fires a blast of energy at him.

Moloch takes the hit and staggers backwards. He is visibly injured but he quickly regains his composure and charges at Sindel again. Sindel counters with another energy blast, but Moloch tanks it and closes in on her.

He tries to grab her with his sharp claws, but Sindel leaps backwards and lands a series of quick kicks on his chest, sending him stumbling back. Moloch growls in anger and charges at her once again. This time, Sindel is prepared.

 She dodges his charge and lands a hard kick on his stomach, followed by an energy blast to the face. Moloch staggers backwards, and he looks visibly weakened.

Sindel takes advantage of his weakened state and lands a barrage of quick attacks on him, using her staff to batter him and her magic to blast him.

Moloch is now severely injured, and he is struggling to keep standing. Sindel continues her onslaught, knowing that the demon is close to defeat.

FINISH HIM!!!

Finally, she lands a powerful energy blast that knocks Moloch off his feet and sends him crashing to the ground.

Moloch lays motionless on the ground, completely defeated.

KING KHAN...

Winner: Sindel.

THE NEXT FIGHT .....

The next fight has real potential to satisfy the masses. We've got raw power from Derun Mister. Against Donatello's various different martial arts.  Both had excellent vision and awareness. 

The money bounced around. There was an even line for the fight, but slowly the money went in on Donatello towards the end. 

READY FIGHT!!!

The Kombatants...Darun Mister and Donatello are standing in a battle arena. They are both skilled fighters, and are ready to engage in a fierce fight.

Darun Mister makes the first move, charging in and attacking Donatello with a series of quick kicks and punches. Donatello dodging his attacks, and counterattacks with a series of fast jabs and strikes.

The two fighters exchange blows, each one trying to gain the advantage over the other. Darun Mister is aggressive in his attacks, while Donatello tries to keep his distance and counterattack when he sees an opening.

Darun Mister continues his relentless attacks, trying to overwhelm Donatello with his aggressive fighting style. Donatello holds his ground, dodging and blocking his strikes, and counterattacking when he sees an opportunity.

Darun Mister's attacks are more powerful and stronger, while Donatelli's movements are faster and more agile.

The battle continues, with both fighters exchanging blows and trying to outmaneuver each other.

Who will be victorious?

Darun Mister and Donatello continue to engage in a fierce back-and-forth fight, both fighters pushing themselves to their limits.

They each take some hits, but neither one seems to be gaining the upper hand.

Darun Mister continues to attack with his aggressive style, while Donatello continues to defend and counterattack.

The battle is intense and close, and it seems that the outcome could go either way.

Finally, Donatello notices an opening in Darun Mister's defense, and he quickly lunges in with a series of quick strikes.

He manages to land a few good hits on Darun Mister, weakening him, and takes advantage of the moment to deliver a powerful kick that sends Darun Mister flying.

Darun Mister lands hard on the ground, and he is temporarily incapacitated.

SHAO KHAN...

Winner: Donatello.

The Powers of the Castle 

Quan Chi took his position inside the castle. He was seen by Mer-Man who shot a lazer beam that hit Quan Chi.  There was nothing wrong as far as he could tell, but it had hit him with a beam or ray of something. 

Now there were two as Beast-Man joined the mix. 

"I'm gonna have to do away with the two of you." Quan Chi says. 

There was something different, something wrong, as his powers failed to work. What was happening? Quan Chi couldn't figure it out. What? It had to be that lazer beam. They continued to fire off their lazer beams. 

"Come out of there." Beast-Man shouted. 

Quan Chi hypnotizes his opponents with his mystical powers, causing them to fall under his control, and making the Mer-Man and Beastman walk towards him, asking how they can serve him. 

"Deception" Shao Khan's voice came out of nowhere.  

Skeletor was on Snake Mountain. Though he knew that Quan Chi was in Castle Greyskull. Evil-Lyn stood behind him. 

"This is the day you chose?"  Skeletor asked. 

"That I chose...you say? Chose what?" Quan Chi inquired. 

"The day you chose to die." Skeletor added. 

Skeletor and Evil-Lyn walk out of the portal to face Quan Chi.  The two men circle each other cautiously and then Skeletor observed enough. He fired a few lazer beam shots, but those were deflected by Quan Chi's shield. 

"You only thought I  would submit to you so easily." Quan Chi says.  

" No, but how do you fare against He-Man?" Skeletor projected He-Man into the battle. 

He-Man was materializes right before Quan Chi. Where he pulled his power sword.  Quan Chi vanished. He-Man morphed into Battle-Cat and attacked Quan Chi as he materialized again.  

Quan Chi teleported into the air where he caught Skeletor with the Tele-Stomp. Knocking his power staff out of his hands. The He-Man clone picked up the staff, but Evil-Lyn zapped that He-Man with a powerful bolt of electricity.  Pulling the staff into her possession.  

Quan Chi was doing hand to hand combat with Skeletor and with no positive results. Skeletor pulls his power sword and summoned the powers of Greyskull.  

The powers coursed through his body and Quan Chi realized that he was out powered here. Skeletor was on the same playing field as Shao Khan.  

"You must battle me for you life." Skeletor now a very powerful entity.  

Quan Chi tried to mentally manipulate Skeletor, but he was immune to that attack. Skeletor kicked Quan Chi into the rock wall. Then he charged him with a powerful shoulder strike. Quan Chi was too disoriented to focus on any attack. 

Skeletor swung the power sword taking off Quan Chi's head in one swift move. The soul of Quan Chi had been relinquished, and absorbed by the castle.
