Mortal Kombat: Round 1 Finale

THE TOURNAMENT CONTINUES...

The Next Fight was announced by King Khan.

The fight between Baraka and Tri-Borg quickly turns brutal and destructive, the two combatants tearing into each other with a ferocity that is both awe-inspiring and sickening. Both characters are experts in close combat, and they fight with a savagery that is made all the more terrifying by their monstrous appearances.

The fight takes place in a ghost town, the empty buildings and abandoned streets serving as a chilling backdrop for the brutal struggle. Both combatants move with lightning speed, their attacks connecting with bone-crushing force.

Baraka's blades slice through the air, whistling as they cut deep into Tri-Borg's armored hide. The machine's synthetic flesh is no match for the razor sharp blades, and his body is soon covered in deep cuts and slashes.

Tri-Borg, in turn, responds with a barrage of high-powered weapons, firing blasts of energy and projectiles from his built-in weapons system. He moves with blinding speed, his mechanical body giving him an edge in terms of reaction time and agility.

As the fight continues, the damage inflicted by both combatants becomes increasingly severe. Blood and oil flow from their wounds, the ground becoming slick and slippery beneath their feet. Both warriors are becoming increasingly wounded and fatigued, but neither seems willing to give up.

Finally, after what seems like an eternity, one of the combatants makes a fatal mistake. Baraka overextends himself, leaving himself open to Tri-Borg's attack. The machine capitalizes on the opportunity, landing a devastating blow that sends the Outworld warrior sprawling to the ground.

Tri-Borg stands over the fallen Baraka, panting heavily as he surveys the damage he's inflicted.

FINISHED HIM!!!

The Outworld warrior is barely conscious, his body covered in wounds and his breath coming in ragged gasps.

Shao Kahn prepares to call the pair of Kombatants for the next fight. Following what had been an impressive showdown.

Shang Tsung looks at the tournament board and is impressed with how the whole thing has played out to this point.

Blanca vs. M. Bison

The fight between Blanka and M. Bison takes place in a bell tower, the two combatants facing off against each other amidst the shadows and flickering light cast by the moonlight streaming in through the windows. Shao Kahn watches from his throne, a look of cold detachment on his face.

The two combatants circle each other warily, both clearly intent on taking down their opponent. Blanka's powerful muscles ripple under his green skin as he prepares to attack, while Bison's eyes gleam with a predatory gleam as he readies his Psycho Power.

Blanka is the first to make a move, charging forward with a roar and attempting to tackle Bison to the ground.

☆(King Khan watches)☆

The Dictator dodges the attack easily, sidestepping and landing a quick kick to Blanka's side. It stumbles him forward with no damage. Still that shot angered him.

Blanka turns and launches himself into the air, performing a powerful somersault that sends him crashing into Bison. The impact sends both combatants sprawling, landing in a heap on the floor of the bell tower.

Blanka quickly scrambles to his feet, while Bison pulls himself up and brushes himself off. The two combatants face off again, each one eyeing the other warily. Blanka's muscles are tense and coiled, ready to strike at a moment's notice, while Bison's eyes gleam with calculating calm.

Suddenly, Bison makes his move. He darts forward with blinding speed, launching himself at Blanka with a flurry of punches and kicks. The green-skinned warrior tries to block and dodge, but Bison is too fast and too skilled, landing blow after blow and driving Blanka back towards the edge of the tower.

Blanka tries desperately to counterattack, but he's disoriented and off balance from Bison's onslaught. He swings at the Dictator, but his blows are clumsy and ineffective. As he stumbles back towards the edge of the tower, he can feel himself growing weak and tired.

Bison notices Blanka's weakening state and presses his advantage. He steps forward, delivering a devastating kick that sends the green-skinned warrior tumbling over the edge of the tower.

Shao Khan watches from his throne as Blanka tumbles over the edge, his expression betraying a hint of surprise. He leans forward, watching intently as the green-skinned warrior falls down towards the ground far below.

Shao Kahn...

The final match of the first round has come upon us. This is the one that you've all been waiting for. The fight that separate the future of two great warriors. Two heros among those they serve.

Sub-Zero

Superman

The battle was set between Superman and Sub-Zero. Two dominant forces in any universe. The bets were coming in even at first, but Superman is now clearly the bettors favorite.

The reporters are getting the coverage.

Jimmy of The Daily Planet talks to Superman. Johnny Cage reports for USA Global Networking.

April O'Neil Reports with live video coverage from the ground.
THE MAN OF STEEL

The Battle had been set. The two warriors are both ready and had all but known they'd be the next to be matched. Neither of them had any on going issues coming into an unnecessary battle. Sub-Zero is an extremely powerful cryomancer with his ability to create and manipulate ice. On the other hand, Superman is an extremely powerful Kryptonian with his superhuman strength, speed, and durability.
The Fight:

The fight portals open for each fighter. The enter into the darkness of The Waste-Lands.

READY FIGHT!!!

Superman stands facing Sub-Zero in the desolate wasteland of the Shadow Realm.

The sky is dark, and the landscape is barren and scorched, with only a few bits of rubble and debris visible in the area. In the distance, a few scattered buildings can be seen, though they are ruined and crumbling.

Superman looks at Sub-Zero with determination in his eyes, knowing that this will be a difficult fight. Superman possesses other abilities such as heat vision and super breath that could easily counter any of Sub-Zero's attacks.

Sub-Zero, meanwhile, stands calmly and confidently, his hands poised in front of him. He looks at Superman without a hint of fear, ready to fight.

As the two approach each other, they stand a few feet apart, eyeing each other carefully. The tension in the air is palpable, and the only sound comes from the howling wind and the scraping of their feet against the rocky terrain.

Seeing that Sub-Zero is not making the first move, Superman decides to take initiative. He rushes forward and throws a powerful punch at his opponent, aiming to catch him off guard.

Sub-Zero dodges the attack with ease, sidestepping the blow and countering with a swift kick that catches Superman in the side.

Superman staggers back a few steps, surprised by the quick counterattack.

Sub-Zero presses his advantage and launches a series of rapid attacks, aiming for Superman's vitals.

Superman is a skilled fighter, and he manages to block and dodge most of the attacks, though a few do land, and he's soon sporting a few cuts and bruises.

THE BATTLE CONTINUES.....

FINISH HIM!!!
Sub-Zero is pushed back by the onslaught, but he's not intimidated. He counters with a freezing blast, hoping to catch Superman off guard. The attack seems to momentarily slow Superman down, but he quickly shakes off the effect and charges forward once again.

The two warriors continue to exchange blows, each one trying to gain an avantage over the other.

However, despite their best efforts, neither seems able to gain the upper hand.

Superman's incredible strength and speed are no match for Sub-Zero's freezing powers, and vice versa. Superman controls the temperatures with his Heat-Ray Vision.

Frustrated, both warriors step back and take a moment to catch their breath. They glare at each other across the few feet that separate them, both determined to come out victorious in this fight.

Superman knew that Sub-Zero would present a tremendous challenge, but he also knew his powers exceeded those of his worthy
opponent. The challenge was in front of him. It was time to end this contest. The decisive maneuvers needed to be made.

IN THE SHADOW REALM....THE FIGHT GOES ON!!!

General Zod...watches on as Superman and his opponent, Sub-Zero continue to exchange attacks and push the fight in the direction of their desired choice. It appeared that Superman was having trouble with an opponent he should have been able to decimate. Zod knew that the end would soon come for Superman. Kill him!!!"

The intense battle continues...

Then, without warning, Sub-Zero lunges forward again, launching a barrage of icy projectiles at Superman.

The attack is sudden and unexpected, and Superman is hit by several of the blasts, sending him sprawling backwards.

Sub-Zero keeps the pressure up, moving forward to try and finish the fight. But just as he's about to deliver the final blow, Superman suddenly recovers and fires his heat vision at Sub-Zero, forcing him to retreat.

Sub-Zero is forced to dodge the powerful heat vision, backing off and putting some distance between himself and Superman.

He looks at his opponent with renewed respect, realizing that this fight is far from over...

"It's time to slow things down Superman." Sub-Zero says.

Superman closely watches the highly skilled ninja warrior and his ice cold approach. They move around in search of the opening that could bring on the end. Superman knew Sub-Zero was not a bad person. He stood for what was good in his realm.

Sub-Zero breaks the silence, speaking in a low, calm voice. "You're a powerful foe, Superman. I didn't expect to meet someone like you here in this wasteland."

Superman nods slightly, acknowledging the compliment.

"And you're no pushover yourself. Those ice powers of yours are impressive."

Superman came into this battle with the intent of not showing any more than necessary in terms of strategic planning. Sub-Zero, was more difficult than anticipated. Superman knew that he would need to take a different approach.  This opponent could be defeated. Superman watches Sub-Zero.

Sub-Zero takes a step forward. "Enough talk. Let's finish this fight."

Superman nods in agreement. "I couldn't agree more."

With that, the two warriors charge at each other, both determined to come out on top.

The fight resumes with renewed ferocity, and the two combatants exchange blows at lightning speed.

Punches and kicks fly in every direction, as both warriors put everything they have into their attacks.

They fight fiercely, neither giving an inch. The sounds of their impacts echo across the wasteland, accompanied by grunts and curses from the two warriors.

Both are getting battered and bruised, but neither is willing to give up. Superman possesses other worldly abilities, but when it comes to hand to hand combat. Sub-Zero proved to be too much.

They fight fiercely, neither giving an inch. The sounds of their impacts echo across the wasteland, accompanied by grunts and curses from the two warriors.

Both are getting battered and bruised, but neither is willing to give up. There was no quit in either of these battle tested warriors. The lightning strikes in the distance. The intensity of combat increased. After several minutes of intense fighting, Sub-Zero manages to land a powerful blow on Superman, sending him sprawling to the ground.

He quickly pounces on him, pinning him down and preparing to deliver the finishing blow.

Just as it seems that the fight is over, Superman suddenly bucks his hips, throwing Sub-Zero off balance and reversing their positions.

He quickly pins his opponent to the ground, his expression grim and determined. Sub-Zero struggles to break free from Superman's grip, but the Kryptonian's strength is too much for him to overcome.

Realizing that he's beaten, Sub-Zero looks up at Superman and mutters, "I yield."

    FINISH HIM!!!

Superman helps the fallen Sub-Zero to his feet. Then turns to the tower. Still holding the hand of the defeated warrior.  Superman raised his hand. "We are finished." Superman  shouts at Shao Khan and Shang Tsung.
The Man of Steel - Superman

The dawn of a new day. This Superman would be difficult to deal with. His displeasure with the tournament in general was known coming in. Not that Superman had any problems with Shao Khan, but he knew the evil that was probably spreading in Metropolitan Metropolis. As well as many other places in the world absent of hero protection.
Superman knew that Supergirl was probably keeping things peaceful, but he also knew Lex Luthor would not be easy on her knowing she has no backup.

Batman had been eliminated from the tournament and was back in Gotham City, or was he? Superman really had no idea. What would be next? What would Khan throw at him next.

"Awesome win...bub!!!" Wolverine congratulated, Superman.

"Thanks Logan." Superman replied, but still in deep thought.

Could it be Wolverine? David and the Hulk? The Flash? Wonder Woman? Superman didn't want to face anyone that he liked. However, with no alliances anything was possible.

(The Dawn of a New Day)
Shao Kahn had been impressed with how the last fight had gone, but the next round was upon them and each fight would be among proven winners from the first round. The Kombat Tournament was Khan's biggest concern, but he knew there were other issues that needed to be addressed.

The Masters of the Universe - Skeletor

Shang Tsung knew exactly what King Khan needed to handle. Shao Khan had shown a level of patience with Skeletor, and he intended on future dealings with him. However, there had to be a level of understanding that takes place. Shao Khan wanted to see Skeletor rule Eternia, and provide the tournament with Kombatants. This matter of business was not only needed, but also a strategic necessity.

"They think they can intimidate me?" Skeletor mocks.

"Skeletor, my old friend." Shao Khan, says.

"We aren't here to ruin our working relationship with the Emporor of Evil. We are here to recover the spirit of Quan Chi."

Skeletor looked at the two of them, and they looked at a Skeletor that Quan Chi clearly under estimated.  This Skeletor was a warrior. A powerful being. The evolutionary entity of evil.

"Where is this Kombatant that you tell us of?" Shao Khan inquired.

Skeletor looks at him..."I need just a little more time."

Shao Kahn walks across the drawbridge. Shang Tsung teleports to the other side.

"Do you hear this Shang Tsung?" Khan asked.

"Skeletor needs more time." Shang Tsung reiterated.

Castle Greyskull in Eternia: He-Man

"With the Powers of Greyskull...Give Me The Power"

Skeletor summoned the powers. The castle began to shake and spirits of Preternia were reincarnated right before their very eyes. Even Skeletor wasn't sure what he'd caused.

"What have you done, Bone-Head?" Shao Khan said in anger.

Skeletor looked at Shao Khan and Shang Tsung.  His voice was even different when he says..."Shang Tsung wasn't even going to say anything?" Skeletor's demonic voice echoed.

Shao Khan looks at Shang Tsung. Then back at the materializing spirits of Greyskull's past. Primal screams escaped from the now freezing cold walls of Castle Greyskull.

"I don't know what's happening." Skeletor confessed.

The ground was shaking violently. Shang Tsung teleports out of the castle side of the bridge.
Skeletor's henchmen stood beside their Master waiting to be instructed on what to do. Their Master was now the 'All Mighty Skeletor.'

Shao Kahn didn't teleport. He stood before this reincarnation. Warriors recognize each other. They recognized The General. He also recognized them. These large behemoths came to life before his eyes.

The ancient warriors had been awakened. The good and the bad. Shao Khan stood his ground. Skeletor was across the mote looking into the castle. The demons and warriors had been released upon the land on Eternia once again.
Quan Chi in his demonic form. Now released from the captive walls of Greyskull, Quan Chi resurrects himself to his physical form. This demon and it's powers now resident  to Quan Chi. "They cannot defeat me"...Quan Chi.

The Dark Forces of Castle Greyskull

He-Man is the all good protector of Eternia. The Evil Forces that dwell within all of us were removed from He-Man. The same dark forces that Skeletor had been trying to tap into. The power is the power. Both good and evil. The Powers of Greyskull knew no difference. Like Shao Khan, The castle identified warriors.

The dark entity had been released from their eternal resting place. The Dark He-Man has the powers of He-Man, but he is hellbent on defeating and destroying anything harmonious

Skeletor had figured it out. He would send over his imposter He-Man known as 'Faker' of He-Man.

"Khan...I have your warrior. Just as I promised you." Skeletor says.

"I had no doubts that you would come through. Who do you have for me?"

"He-Man." Skeletor says.

Shao Khan looks at Skeletor. Confused as to what he's talking about.

"What are you, talking about? You've provided us with He-Man, already." Khan looks at him with confusion.

"Has that worked out for you, Khan?"

"I cannot say that it hasn't, but are telling me you have another He-Man? There's not but one He-Man...spill it, Bones!!"

Skeletor with his Battle-Ram Staff creates an Orb. The blue mist and purple orb mixed into a portal that he walked out of. Shao Khan watched closely as a blue Skeletor colored He-Man walked into existence.

"What is this, Bones?" Shao Khan asked, as looked it over.

"That is the clone of He-Man and myself. You get the power and strength of He-Man, but the evil and treachery of yours truly"...(laughing)

Khan looked skeptical of Skeletor's claims. It looked like He-Man, but Shao Khan had seen He-Man in battle, but what could this blue He-Man do?

"Prove to me that this creation of yours can fight...I need to be convinced." Shao Khan levels with him.

There was no question about Faker's ability to fight. Skeletor had seen him fight, and had seen the strength that matches the incredible strength of He-Man.  It was He-Man...the skeleton made of various metals. The skin made from the toughest leathers in Eternia. Crafted by the Snake-Men.

"I will prove myself against anyone...I am the most powerful man in the Universe." Faker says. His voice was mechanical.

"Well Skeletor,  he's ready to prove it. Is that thing a robot?" Shao Khan inquired.

"Yes and No... It's great work from the Reptilians."

Shang Tsung teleports into the room. Looking at this mysterious blue warrior. A blue He-Man stood there looking at him.

"The Cave"

"You think I have a problem proving myself to you, Khan?" Faker said.

"Bring it on...I'll prove myself worthy of your Tournament. I'm the strongest man in the Eternian Universe."

They watched closely as Noob Saibot walks out of a small Black Portal.

"I'm here for the Kombat. I'm ready to fight."

He eyed his opponent standing across from him. He stared him down.

"This is the warrior that you wish to see me destroy " Noob Saibot asked.

READY FIGHT!!!

The two fighters moving among each other, and sizing up their opponent.

The fight between Faker and Noob Saibot opens up inside the cave, the two fighters locked in a fierce battle for survival. The three spectators look on, each with their own set of thoughts and emotions.

Shao Khan watches the fight with cold detachment, his eyes narrowed as he eagerly awaits the decisive moment.

Skeletor sits on his throne, his expression betraying a hint of concern and jealousy as he watches the fight unfold.

Shang Tsung, meanwhile, looks on with a calculating gaze, trying to assess each fighter's strengths and weaknesses.

As the fight progresses, it becomes clear that both fighters are evenly matched. Noob Saibot's shadow powers and mastery of dark magic are a formidable match for Faker's raw strength and combat skills. Neither seems to have an advantage, and the fight is turning into a marathon of endurance.

The spectators continue to watch in fascination, each one silently rooting for their own favorite. Shao Khan's expression remains stoic, though his eyes reveal a flicker of excitement.

Skeletor clenches his fists, his face betraying a hint of anxiety as he watches the fight. Shang Tsung, meanwhile, strokes his chin thoughtfully, observing the fighters with a cunning expression.

The battle reaches a climax, and the fighters unleash all of their powers in a final, desperate attempt to win.

Noob Saibot uses his shadow magic to teleport around the arena, attacking from every angle. Faker, meanwhile, responds with a flurry of powerful punches and kicks, his sheer strength and skill enough to withstand the onslaught of magic attacks.

The fight continues in this way for several minutes, the two warriors locked in a fierce struggle for supremacy. The room is filled with the sounds of combat, the crashing of blows and grunts of exertion echoing off of the cave walls.

The three spectators watch with rapt attention, each one silently hoping for their chosen fighter to emerge victorious.

As the fight continues to drag on, the tension in the air becomes palpable.

Both fighters are clearly beginning to tire, their movements growing slower and more labored.

Skeletor is practically on the edge of his seat, his face betraying his anxiety.

Shao Khan sits back in his chair, his expression still betraying little emotion.

Shang Tsung, meanwhile, leans forward in his seat, his eyes fixed intently on the combatants.

Finally, after what seems like an eternity, Noob Saibot makes a mistake. He gets too close to Faker, and the He-Man copy is able to land a devastating blow. Noob Saibot crumples to the ground, and Faker stands over him, victorious.

"I'm convinced...you really out did yourself, Bones." Shao Khan says.

Shang Tsung nods in agreement. Very impressed himself with the fight.

" So our deal is done?"

"Yes, and I'll provide you with some sort of offering.

Shao Khan's MORTAL KOMBAT Tournament
Khan could feel the powers of....Greyskull within him. Something happened and he liked it.
There was something awakened inside King Khan. Shang Tsung waits for this rising of the King. This strong and powerful veon of the Great Shao Khan.

"No...I have the power." Shao Khan says.

Then teleports himself back to the Master's Chambers.  Feeling the surge of power that had been ignited within him.

The next round coming soon
Round 2

"READY FIGHT!!!"
